Eine abenteuerliche Reise
Am 5./6. Februar 2020 reisten wir, Esther Borra, Trainerin in Logosynthese und Ernst Aebi, Präsident der LIA über Kigali und Kamembe (Rwanda) nach Bukavu, Kongo. Es war eine Reise ins Unbekannte, die wir erst nach intensiven Recherchen wagten. Esther “kannte” einzig zwei der Organisatoren, die eines ihrer Online-Basic Seminare besucht hatten, jedoch wegen schlechter Internetverbindung oft fehlten.
Nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir vom Initianten des Seminars, Bienfait Zihalirwa von der Upright Kids Foundation, und Pascal Mukaba vom Foyer de Paix, am Flughafen in Kamembe in Rwanda herzlich empfangen. Wir fuhren gemeinsam zur kongolesischen Grenze und durften diese nach längerem Warten an der Passkontrolle zu Fuss passieren. Nachdem unsere Körpertemperatur gemessen wurde und wir unsere Hände desinfiziert hatten (hier noch wegen Ebola!) erwartete uns ein zweites Auto – alles in allem bereits ein abenteuerliches Unternehmen…
Ein intensives Basic-Seminar
Im gesicherten Areal des CAP „Centre d’Accueil Protestant“ Nguba in Bukavu angekommen, bereiteten wir gemeinsam den Seminarraum für die 30 angemeldeten Teilnehmenden vor.
Unser Seminarraum mit 35 Teilnehmenden – dank Stromgenerator funktionierte sogar der Beamer!
Am 1. Seminartag waren kurz nach 9.00 Uhr alle startbereit. Fünf der angemeldeten Teilnehmenden erschienen allerdings nicht, dafür kamen zehn andere Personen, die wir natürlich gerne registrierten.
Die Teilnehmenden waren in den folgenden Berufen tätig: PsychologInnen, SozialarbeiterInnen, psychosoziale BeraterInnen, Theologen und Medizinstudenten. Alle zeigten sich sehr professionell, erfahren und offen für die Logosynthese, einem für sie neuen Ansatz. Sie arbeiteten intensiv mit und waren auch bei den Gruppenarbeiten sehr motiviert dabei.

Die Situation im Kongo
Das „Kivugebiet“, die Region der grossen Seen im Kongo, ist seit Jahren immer wieder von Konflikten und zwei Kriegen heimgesucht worden. Bis heute werden unzählige Frauen und Kinder vergewaltigt und/oder misshandelt, sie sind entsprechend traumatisiert. In Bukavu und Umgebung gibt es einige lokale Hilfsprojekte, die den Frauen und Kindern psychologische Unterstützung, und wo nötig, ein Zuhause und Weiterbildung bieten. Diese Projekte haben zum Ziel, den Frauen und Kindern ein eigenständiges Leben und die Integration in die Gesellschaft zu ermöglichen. Unsere Seminar Teilnehmenden, die mit diesen Frauen und Kindern arbeiten, sind täglich mit sehr herausfordernden Situationen konfrontiert. Sie sind sehr dankbar, dass sie die Gelegenheit bekommen haben, die Logosynthese zu lernen und somit ihren Klientinnen besser helfen zu können.
Wir erlebten drei intensive, berührende Seminartage. Es gelang uns sogar, die 10 fehlenden Zertifikate vor Ort nachdrucken zu lassen. Die Teilnehmenden bedankten sich überschwänglich und nahmen stolz ihre Zertifikate in Empfang.
Wir unterstützen lokale Hilfsprojekte
Während der folgenden Tage waren wir eingeladen, die verschiedenen Projekte zu besuchen, in denen unsere Teilnehmenden arbeiten:
- Upright Kids Foundation, https://www.uprightkidsfoundation.org eine noch junge Organisation unter der Leitung von Bienfait Zihalirwa (Intitiant des Logosynthese-Seminars im Kongo), die sich um Waisenkinder kümmert. Wir – Esther und Ernst – unterstützen die Upright Kids
- Foyer de Paix, http://www.amani-kwenu.ch die den Frauen und ihren Kindern vor allem in der Landwirtschaft neue Lebensmöglichkeiten bietet, gegründet von Pater Roger, der uns in der Vorbereitung und Durchführung unseres Unternehmens enorm unterstützt hat
- V-Day, “Cité de la Joie”, https://www.cityofjoycongo.org von Christine Schuler, die in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Arzt und Nobelpreisträger D. Mukwege ein absolut eindrückliches Hilfsprogramm mit vergewaltigten Frauen durchführt. Mit den acht Sozialarbeiterinnen von Cité de la Joie haben wir bei unserem Besuch die Logosynthese Sätze in „Swaheli local“ übersetzt, da viele der zu betreuenden Personen nur diese Sprache und kein Französisch sprechen.
- Verschiedene andere Projekte, u.a. auch unsere 6 Teilnehmenden aus Burundi, konnten wir leider nicht besuchen
Unser Fazit
Es hat uns sehr beeindruckt, wie im Kongo mit den oft traumatisierten Personen gearbeitet wird. Insgesamt blicken wir auf ein unglaublich schönes, berührendes Seminar und einen ebensolchen Besuch bei den Projekten zurück. Das Engagement dieser Menschen gibt uns Hoffnung, dass sich die Situation der lokalen Bevölkerung nun doch schrittweise verbessern wird. Es gibt noch viel zu tun!

An adventurous journey
On February 5-6, 2020, we, (Esther Borra, trainer in Logosynthesis and Ernst Aebi, LIA president,) travelled via Kigali and Kamembe, (Rwanda) to Bukavu, Congo. It was a journey into the unknown, which we dared to start only after intensive research. Esther already “knew” two of the organisers, who had attended one of her online Logosynthesis Basic seminars. Due to bad internet connection they had often missed the class.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the airport in Kamembe, Rwanda, by the initiator of the seminar, Bienfait Zihalirwa from Upright Kids Foundation and Pascal Mukaba from Foyer de Paix. Together we drove to the Congolese border and were allowed to cross it on foot, after a long time of waiting at passport control. After our body temperature was taken and we had disinfected our hands (still because of Ebola!) a second car was waiting for us – all in all an adventurous undertaking…
An intensive Basic Seminar
Arriving at the secured area of the CAP “Centre d’Accueil Protestant” Nguba in Bukavu, we jointly prepared the seminar room for the 30 registered participants.

On the 1st seminar day, shortly after 9.00 am everybody was ready to start. However, five of the registered participants did not show up, instead ten other people walked in. We gladly registered them for the course.
The participants work in the following professions: Psychologists, social workers, psychosocial counsellors, theologians and medical students. They all proved to be very professional, experienced and open to Logosynthesis: a new approach for them. They collaborated intensively and were also very motivated in the groupwork sessions.

The situation in the Congo
The “Kivu area”, the region of the Great Lakes in the Congo, has been afflicted for years by conflicts and two wars. Up until now, countless women and children have been raped and/or mistreated, and they are correspondingly traumatised. In Bukavu and the surrounding area, there are several local aid projects that offer women and children psychological support and, where necessary, a home and further education. The aim of these projects is to enable the women and children to lead independent lives and to integrate into society. Our seminar participants who work with these women and children are confronted with very challenging situations every day. They are very grateful that they have had the opportunity to learn Logosynthesis and are now better able to help and support their clients.
We experienced three intensive and touching seminar days. We even managed to have ten missing Logosynthesis certificates reprinted on site. The participants thanked us enthusiastically. They proudly received their certificates.
We support local aid projects
During the following days we were invited to visit the different projects in which our participants work:
- Upright Kids Foundation, https://www.uprightkidsfoundation.org, a still young organization under the leadership of Bienfait Zihalirwa (initiator of the Logosynthesis Seminar in Congo), which cares for orphans. We – Esther and Ernst – support the Upright Kids
- Foyer de Paix, http://www.amani-kwenu.ch offers women and their children new life opportunities, especially in agriculture, founded by Father Roger, who has given us enormous support in the preparation and implementation of our enterprise
- V-Day, “Cité de la Joie”, https://www.cityofjoycongo.org, by Christine Schuler, who, in collaboration with the doctor and Nobel Prize winner D. Mukwege, runs an absolutely impressive aid program for raped women. Together with eight social workers of Cité de la Joie, we translated the Logosynthesis sentences into “Swahili local” during our visit, because many of the people to be cared for, only speak this language rather than French.
- Unfortunately, we were unable to visit various other projects, including those connected to the 6 participants from Burundi.
Our conclusion
We were very impressed by the way people in the Congo work with their clients, who are often traumatised. All in all, we look back on an incredibly beautiful, touching seminar and an equally beautiful visit to the various projects. The commitment of these people gives us hope that the situation of the local population will gradually improve. There is still much to do!

Un voyage aventureux
Du 5 au 6 février 2020,nous, Esther Borra, Trainer en Logosynthèse et Ernst Aebi, Président de la LIA, avons voyagé via Kigali et Kamembe (Rwanda) à Bukavu, en RD Congo. C’était un voyage vers l’inconnu, que nous avons, osé entreprendre suite à des recherches intensives. Esther ne “connaissait” que deux des organisateurs, qui avaient été inscrits à l’un de ses séminaires en Logosynthèse Basic en ligne. Ils étaient souvent absents en raison de connexions à internet difficiles.
À notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à l’aéroport de Kamembe, au Rwanda, par l’initiateur du séminaire, Bienfait Zihalirwa de la Fondation Upright Kids, et Pascal Mukaba du Foyer de Paix. Le transfert vers la frontière congolaise s’est fait en voiture. Après une longue attente au contrôle des passeports, nous avons été autorisé à traverser la frontière à pied.. Après avoir mesuré notre température corporelle et désinfecté nos mains (ici encore à cause d’Ebola !), une deuxième voiture nous attendait – dans l’ensemble déjà une entreprise aventureuse…
Un séminaire de Base intensif
Arrivés dans la zone sécurisée du CAP “Centre d’Accueil Protestant” Nguba à Bukavu, nous avons préparé ensemble la salle de séminaire pour les 30 participants inscrits.

Le premier jour du séminaire, peu après 9 heures, tout le monde était prêt à commencer. Cinq des participants inscrits ne se sont pas présentés, mais dix autres personnes, que nous avons volontairement acceptées, ont rejoint les autres participants présents.. Les participants travaillent dans les professions suivantes : Psychologues, travailleurs sociaux, conseillers psychosociaux, théologiens et étudiants en médecine.
Ils se sont tous montrés très professionnels, expérimentés et ouverts à la Logosynthèse, une nouvelle approche pour eux. Ils ont collaboré intensivement et étaient également très motivés pendant le travail de groupe.

La situation au Congo
La “région du Kivu”, la région des Grands Lacs au Congo, est en proie depuis des années à des conflits et à deux guerres. Aujourd’hui encore, d’innombrables femmes et enfants sont violés et/ou maltraités, et ils sont traumatisés en conséquence. À Bukavu et dans les environs, il existe plusieurs projets d’aide locale qui offrent aux femmes et aux enfants un soutien psychologique et, si nécessaire, un foyer et une formation continue. L’objectif de ces projets est de permettre aux femmes et aux enfants de mener une vie indépendante et de s’intégrer dans la société. Les participants à nos séminaires qui travaillent avec ces femmes et ces enfants sont confrontés chaque jour à des situations très difficiles. Ils sont très reconnaissants d’avoir eu la possibilité d’apprendre la Logosynthèse et de pouvoir ainsi mieux aider leurs clients.
Nous avons vécu trois journées de séminaire intensives et touchantes. Nous avons même réussi à faire réimprimer sur place les dix certificats manquants. Les participants nous ont remerciés avec exubérance et ont fièrement reçu leurs certificats.
Nous soutenons des projets d’aide locale
Au cours des jours suivants, nous avons été invités à visiter les différents projets dans lesquels nos participants travaillent :
- Upright Kids Foundation, https://www.uprightkidsfoundation.org, une jeune organisation sous la direction de Bienfait Zihalirwa (initiateur du Séminaire de Logosynthèse en RD Congo), qui s’occupe des orphelins. Nous – Esther et Ernst – soutenons les Upright Kids
- Foyer de Paix, http://www.amani-kwenu.ch, qui offre aux femmes et à leurs enfants de nouvelles opportunités de vie, notamment dans le domaine de l’agriculture, fondé par le Père Roger, qui nous a apporté un soutien énorme dans la préparation et la mise en œuvre de notre séminaire
- V-Day, “Cité de la Joie”, https://www.cityofjoycongo.org, par Christine Schuler, qui, en collaboration avec le médecin et prix Nobel D. Mukwege, mène un programme d’aide absolument impressionnant auprès des femmes violées. Avec les huit travailleurs sociaux de la Cité de la Joie, nous avons traduit, pendant notre visite, les phrases de la Logosynthèse en “Swaheli local”, car beaucoup de personnes à soigner ne parlent que cette langue et pas le français.
- Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas pu visiter divers autres projets, y compris nos 6 participants du Burundi.
Notre conclusion
Nous avons été très impressionnés par la façon dont les gens au Congo travaillent avec les personnes souvent traumatisées.
Dans l’ensemble, nous avons le souvenir d’un séminaire incroyablement beau et touchant et d’une visite toute aussi belle des projets. L’engagement de ces personnes nous donne l’espoir que la situation de la population locale s’améliorera progressivement. Il reste encore beaucoup à faire !

Un viaggio avventuroso
Il 5-6 febbraio 2020, noi (Esther Borra, formatrice di Logosintesi ed Ernst Aebi, presidente della LIA) abbiamo viaggiato attraverso Kigali e Kamembe, (Ruanda) fino a Bukavu, in Congo. È stato un viaggio verso l’ignoto, che abbiamo osato iniziare solo dopo un’intensa ricerca. Ester già “conosceva” due degli organizzatori, che avevano frequentato uno dei suoi seminari di Logosintesi base online. A causa della cattiva connessione a Internet avevano spesso perso la lezione.
All’arrivo, siamo stati accolti calorosamente all’aeroporto di Kamembe, in Ruanda, dal promotore del seminario, Bienfait Zihalirwa della Upright Kids Foundation e Pascal Mukaba del Foyer de Paix. Insieme abbiamo guidato fino al confine congolese e ci fu è stato permesso di attraversarlo a piedi, dopo un lungo periodo di attesa al controllo passaporti. Dopo che la temperatura corporea è stata misurata e ci siamo disinfettati le mani (ancora a causa dell’ebola!) ci aspettava una seconda auto – nel complesso un’impresa avventurosa …
Arrivati nell’area protetta della CAP “Centre d’Accueil protestante” Nguba a Bukavu, abbiamo preparato congiuntamente la sala per seminari per i 30 partecipanti registrati.
La nostra sala per seminari con 35 partecipanti – grazie a un generatore di corrente anche il proiettore ha funzionato!
Il 1 ° giorno del seminario, poco dopo le 9.00 tutti erano pronti per iniziare. Tuttavia, cinque dei partecipanti registrati non si sono presentati, invece sono entrate altre dieci persone. Li abbiamo registrati volentieri per il corso.
I partecipanti lavorano nelle seguenti professioni: psicologi, assistenti sociali, consulenti psicosociali, teologi e studenti di medicina. Tutti si sono dimostrati molto professionali, esperti e aperti alla Logosintesi: un nuovo approccio per loro. Hanno collaborato intensamente e sono stati anche molto motivati nelle sessioni di lavoro di gruppo.

La situazione in Congo
La “zona di Kivu”, la regione dei Grandi Laghi in Congo, è stata afflitta per anni da conflitti e due guerre. Fino ad ora, innumerevoli donne e bambini sono stati violentati e / o maltrattati e sono di conseguenza traumatizzati. A Bukavu e nei dintorni ci sono diversi progetti di aiuti locali che offrono supporto psicologico a donne e bambini e, se necessario, una casa e istruzione superiore. L’obiettivo di questi progetti è consentire a donne e bambini di condurre una vita indipendente e integrarsi nella società. I nostri partecipanti al seminario che lavorano con queste donne e questi bambini si confrontano ogni giorno con situazioni molto difficili. Sono molto grati di aver avuto l’opportunità di imparare la logosintesi e ora sono meglio in grado di aiutare e supportare i loro clienti.
Abbiamo vissuto tre giorni di seminari intensi e toccanti. Siamo persino riusciti a ristampare sul posto i dieci certificati di logosintesi mancanti. I partecipanti ci hanno ringraziato con entusiasmo. Hanno ricevuto con orgoglio i loro certificati.

Nei giorni seguenti siamo stati invitati a visitare i diversi progetti in cui lavorano i nostri partecipanti:
- Upright Kids Foundation, https://www.uprightkidsfoundation.org, un’organizzazione ancora giovane sotto la guida di Bienfait Zihalirwa (promotore del seminario sulla logosintesi in Congo), che si prende cura degli orfani. Noi – Esther ed Ernst – supportiamo Upright Kids
- Foyer de Paix, http://www.amani-kwenu.ch, offre alle donne e ai loro figli nuove opportunità di vita, specialmente in agricoltura, è fondata da padre Roger, che ci ha dato un enorme supporto nella preparazione e attuazione della nostra impresa
- V-Day, “Cité de la Joie”, https://www.cityofjoycongo.org, di Christine Schuler, che, in collaborazione con il medico e vincitore del premio Nobel D. Mukwege, gestisce un programma di aiuti assolutamente impressionante per le donne stuprate . Insieme a otto assistenti sociali di Cité de la Joie, abbiamo tradotto le frasi di Logosintesi in “Swahili” locale durante la nostra visita, perché molte persone a cui prestare aiuto parlano solo questa lingua piuttosto che il francese.
- Sfortunatamente, non siamo stati in grado di visitare vari altri progetti, compresi quelli collegati ai 6 partecipanti del Burundi.
La nostra conclusione
Siamo rimasti molto colpiti dal modo in cui le persone in Congo lavorano con i loro clienti, che sono spesso traumatizzati.
Tutto sommato, guardiamo indietro a un seminario incredibilmente bello e toccante e una visita altrettanto bella ai vari progetti. L’impegno di queste persone ci fa sperare che la situazione della popolazione locale migliorerà gradualmente. C’è ancora molto da fare!
